SPECIALIST NATURAL RESOURCES INVESTMENT
The Janah Global Natural Resources Fund (JGNRF) aims to achieve long term growth by investing in listed equities in the global natural resources sector, incorporating the metals and mining, energy and agriculture sub-sectors.
Experienced Team With Strong Track Record
The JGNRF investment team brings together nearly 60 years combined experience in natural resources investment across all aspects of the resources industry including portfolio and fund management, corporate finance and equity research, project appraisal and mining exploration and development.
The team has previously managed +$1Bn natural resources portfolios with a top performing Fund Manger track record. Split between Singapore and Perth, Western Australia, a premier global natural resources hub, the team has access to the best investment opportunities.
Rigorous Investment Process
The JGNRF is managed on an active basis, uncorrelated to a benchmark index and includes special situation investments in companies with smaller market capitalisations for which investments are transaction-driven.
Janah's investment strategy combines a top-down approach, employing macro-driven allocations across the three resources sub-sectors, with rigorous bottom-up due diligence and stock selection of selected companies across the global universe in order to de-risk investment decisions.
ESG considerations are an integral part of the investment process and potential investments that do not meet required ESG measures will be excluded from the fund's investment universe.

Secular Bull Market in Commodities
JGNRF's investment thesis capitalises on global thematics and significant future demand for technology related metals, including:
-
Clean Energy Transition - electric vehicles, battery storage and renewable energy infrastructure drive unprecedented demand growth for lithium, cobalt, nickel, copper and REEs
-
AI and Robotics - electrification of AI data centres and the rise of humanoid robotics create entirely new, fast-growing demand vectors for copper, aluminium and critical minerals
-
Supply Deficit - decades of industry under-investment and scarcity of major new discoveries creates structural supply constraints, supporting a sustained commodity price uplift
-
Geopolitical Critical Metals - supply chain security for critical minerals has become a geopolitical priority, with Western governments actively incentivising domestic and allied-nation production
